Many of Denise's pieces (see exceptions) are available as limited edition, signed giclées.
Giclées (pronounced Gee’clay) are very high quality sprayed color ink prints, suitable for framing. Colors are remarkably brilliant and fully accurate, and the detail is astonishing – you can even see individual stitches. Similar in some ways to inkjet printing, but on a completely different level (similar to the differences between using a typewriter versus offset lithography), giclée printing uses no screen or other mechanical devices and therefore produces no visible dot pattern. The resulting image has all the tonalities and hues of the original art work.
Denise provides giclées in two standard sizes. A large giclée has a maximum print area of 33" x 22"; smaller giclées have a maximum print area of 21" x 16". Artwork is sized to proportionally print the largest image possible within the available print area (Denise can provide details on finished image sizing for each piece). Completed giclées actually measure 2" larger in both dimensions to allow for a 1" border on all sides. All giclées are printed on the highest quality acid-free watercolor paper.
Pricing is $475 for a large (33" x 22") giclée, and $275 for the smaller (21" x 16") size. Custom sizes and dimensions can also be specified (up to 44" x 33" actual maximum print area). Pricing includes shipping (U.S. locations) and handling. Giclées are carefully covered in acid-free paper, rolled up, and shipped in tubes. Please allow four weeks for production.
